Board of Directors

Hannah Lanning, Chair
Hannah is a sales partner with Better Homes & Garden Real Estate and her own landscape and garden company. Since 2021, she has seamlessly blended her passions into a holistic business and has dedicated her career to creating dream spaces. She is a member of Hamilton County Master Gardeners.

Sue Lowery, Vice Chair
Co-owner Windsock Media publishing; books include: “Tennessee River: Sparkling Gem of the South” and “Chasing Lewis & Clark Across America.” She is a graphic and web designer with a passion for plants and garden design. She blends creativity and a love of nature in everything she does.

Becca Coleman, Treasurer
Becca Coleman is a Chattanooga entrepreneur who turned her love of flowers and community into a flourishing career. Since founding a cut flower farm in 2016, she has grown her work to include shops, flower trucks, and special events—all centered on celebrating local makers, beauty, and connection.

Barbara Shaffer, Secretary
Barbara is passionate about permaculture, sustainability, regenerative agriculture, and supporting local food systems, Barbara is a strong supporter of farmers markets and education that connects people to their local ecology. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of plants, soil science, and landscaping.
